A Forum For Arts Award Advisers

Hello and welcome to the Encourage: Kent Arts Award Advisers Forum

 

This is a place where Kent's advisers can share ideas, seek help and celebrate the Arts Award

 

What is the Forum for?

 Wide Eyed Theatre facilitate a series of exciting events designed to:

• Inspire Arts Award delivery in Kent through meeting with current and potential advisers
• Promote and celebrate the work already going on in Kent with the fantastic advisers already trained
• Boost those who are trained but haven't yet delivered the award
• Stimulate Arts Award activity throughout Kent by linking with the Arts Award Supporter Network and Artsmark

Through fantastic skills share meetings hosted at Gulbenkian, Canterbury, we will focus on specific areas of Arts Award, with input from creative professionals and a forum of best practice.

Sessions will include:

 

• A specific focus on Arts Award Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold
• A 'play' session with a chance to be creative and share delivery techniques through an activity lead by a creative professional. Each session is designed to teach new skills we can use practically in our delivery and give something back to you.   
• A chance to discuss your experiences and share best practice.
• The opportunity to network between Arts Award advisers, creative practitioners and Arts Award centres.

This blog will serve as a document of all happenings and so you need not worry if you miss a session as all the forums will be posted here to be read and continued after the events.


The blog also offers practical advice and resources  to all those running and interested in Arts Award.
